Information you provide to us
Your privacy is important to us. By providing personal information such as your name and e-mail address via the forms on this website, you agree to us contacting you with regard to the information you request.
Some forms on our website also include a check box asking you for permission for us to add you to our mailing list. This is an opt-in mailing list and your personal information will be used solely by us. Under no circumstances will your personal information be sold or used by any other organisation.
From time to time, we may include links in our e-mails to other web sites which we think may be of interest to you. Each email communication you receive from us will have the option to remove your e-mail address from our list.
Information we monitor about visitors
We will use the personal information to supply services and/or documents to you, to contact you as required (including use in the establishment and ongoing maintenance of our client contact and/or marketing databases) and (if appropriate) to arrange payments to or from you.
If you are sending your personal details to us in relation to possible employment with us, we will use the information you have provided on this application to assess your suitability for employment with us, for administration and management purposes and for statistical analysis.
If your application is unsuccessful, we will keep your information for a reasonable period in accordance with legal requirements and for administration purposes. We may also contact you if other job opportunities arise in the future which we think may be suitable for you.
Personal sensitive data

Subject access requests
Under the Data Protection Act 1988, you can ask to see any personal information that we hold about you. Such requests are called ‘subject access requests’.
In order to get a copy of your personal data, you need to make a request in writing and provide:
- Proof of identity e.g. copy passport or copy photo driving licence;
- Proof of address e.g. copy recent (less than 6 months old) utility bill
- Any relevant information to locate the information you are seeking e.g. our reference and any specific dates or types of data you are requesting (letter, e-mail etc)
The fee – there is a £10 fee for making a subject access request which should accompany the written request. Cheques should be made payable to Stephensons.

The personal information may be disclosed where disclosure is reasonably required for our business purposes (for example, as part of a reconstruction, amalgamation or the sale of the whole or a substantial part of our business undertaking).

Any information which is found to be incorrect will be corrected as soon as possible.
